Anonymous Complaint Results In Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

On August 3, Roselle Park Police responded to an anonymous report that narcotics were being used at a residence on the 500 block of Ashwood Avenue. After several minutes of attempting to locate the occupant, Patrolman Gaylord was approached by an individual, Robert Suskie, age 50, who quickly exited the basement doors. According to the police, Patrolman Gaylord explained the nature of the complaint to Mr. Suskie, who then tried to run back into the basement. A subsequent search of the basement revealed a glass pipe commonly used to ingest a narcotic. Mr. Suskie was also found to be in possession of a similar pipe and was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and released pending an appearance in Roselle Park Municipal Court.
