The Roselle Park Recreation Department is sponsoring its Annual Easter Candy Run at Acker Park on Saturday, April 7th, at noon. Originally, the event was scheduled for the previous week but due to the weather, it was moved to the 7th and the start time has been delayed an hour.
The park’s entrance is located on Lehigh Avenue at the intersection of Woodland Avenue. There are time slots for each age group and all participants are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before their time slot. The schedule for children is as follows:
- Noon. – Pre-K and under
- 12:20 p.m. – Kindergarten to 1st graders
- 12:40 p.m. – 2nd to 3rd graders
- 1 p.m. – 4th to 5th graders
The Recreation Department asks that parents please bring a basket for their children to collect candies, a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and a non-perishable food/toiletry item for the Roselle Park Food Pantry.
