The Borough of Roselle Park will be holding its annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Gala on Friday, December 1st, at Michael Mauri Park.
Residents and visitors are invited to kick-off the holiday season at 5 p.m.
Holiday activities for all age groups including pony rides, face painting, balloon artists, and live entertainment will take place on Grant Avenue from 5 p.m. to 7 o’clock at night. Free pizza, refreshments, and gifts for children ages 5 to 10 will be served while supplies last during that time.
Performances by the Roselle Park High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Choirs will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the Christmas Tree Lighting.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive on a Roselle Park fire truck after the tree lighting and everyone is welcome to take pictures with Santa inside the gazebo.
The event was sponsored by the Roselle Park Local PBA 27, Roselle Park Education Association, Casano Community Center Association, Roselle Park Department of Public Works, Roselle Park Fire Department, Roselle Park Police Department, Union County Emergency Medical Services, and Dunkin Donuts.
The rain date for the event is the following Friday, December 8th.
