American Flag On East Lincoln Avenue Home Illegally Burned

The Roselle Park Police are looking for the individual(s) responsible for intentionally burning three (3) flags on East Lincoln Avenue late Friday evening.

Sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight, three residents reported that their flags were damaged or destroyed. The flags, one American lawn flag and two decorative garden type flags, were displayed near the front of the houses. One flagpole was attached to the house, another pole was planted in the flowerbed only a foot from the house and the last was displayed in the front yard flower bed, several feet from the house. None of the houses were reported to be damaged during the incidents and the matters are under investigation by the Roselle Park PD Detective Bureau.

Last year in July three (3) American flags displayed in front of three (3) separate private residences were illegally burned. One of those incidents occurred on the 300 block of East Lincoln Avenue
