A Conversation With First Ward Candidate Jayme Lynn Negron

Jayme Lynn Negron is only one of two women running for municipal office this year. Originally from Bloomfield, Mrs. Negron and her family moved to Roselle Park  in 2013. Since then, Mrs. Negron has been involved with activities for her children and has been the superintendent of an apartment complex on Westfield Avenue. Two years ago, she wanted to see about taking part in a townwide Christmas & Holiday lighting contest to highlight decorated houses in the borough. Soon after the 2016 presidential election, she stated that she decided to get involved in local government.

Mrs. Negron sat with Roselle Park News to discuss her platform, ideas, campaign, and plans if elected to the first ward. Below is the conversation she had to provide voters information on her candidacy.

There are three candidates running for the first ward and only one, Maxine Padulsky, did not participate in an interview. Eugene Meola’s conversation can be found here (link).
