The fourth candidate for the 2014 Roselle Park Board Of Education (BOE) is Chris Miller.
Chris started on the BOE five years ago when he submitted his request to be seated on the Board to fulfill the unexpired term of an outgoing BOE member. Having been chosen, he ran for his first full term in 2011. He has since then become and remains the Board President.
The conversation with Chris covered his time from being the first of the ‘new’ BOE members to his tenure as Board President. Having been on the BOE when a significant number of teachers and staff were laid off due to budget constraints to the implementation of full-day kindergarten, Chris recounts his view and outlook for the school district.
Bringing out his reason for running, Chris stated, “My vision is making Roselle Park the best it can be. I’m looking to promote a refreshing culture of helping and a revitalization and working together and moving forward as a district.”
