The Knights of Columbus Council #3240 of Roselle Park will be holding its seventh annual Trunk-Or-Treat in the Church of the Assumption parking lot on Sunday, October 28th.
The free family-oriented event is open to the entire community and will run from 1:30 p.m. till 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
A DJ will be on hand for entertainment and there will be a costume contest and a best-decorated car contest.
The Knights are asking for donations of unopened bags of candy or a gift certificate for a local business so they can be included in the winner’s basket for the best-decorated car. Monetary donations will also be accepted and appreciated by the K of C.
Those who wish to include and decorate their vehicle should arrive at 12:45 p.m. to set-up their cars and/or tables with candies and decorations. Knights will be on-hand to direct traffic and offer assistance in the lot. Only participating vehicles will be allowed in the parking lot; all other vehicles should park in the street.
The event will take place on the 28th rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, the trunk-or-treat will be a Loreti Hall in the church basement.
Anyone needing more information of interested in donating can contact K of C member Joseph Signorello III at (908) 591-1418.
