The Roselle Park’s Knights of Columbus Msgr. Joseph Loreti Council #3240 will be holding its sixth annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 29th, in the parking lot of the Church of the Assumption.
Started in 2012 as a response to Superstorm Sandy, the event was created to provide children and families a safe place to trick or treat when several streets in the borough were affected with fallen trees, power lines, and damaged houses.
The event will start at 2 p.m. at the church parking lot on Chiego Place between West Clay Avenue and West Westfield Avenue.
The event is open and free to all members of the community. DJ music will be provided as well as family-friendly activities. There will also be several prizes for children’s costumes and several for decorated trunks.
Those who wish to participate by decorating their vehicles can reach out to the Knights of Columbus for more information via their Facebook page (link) or their website (link)
