The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) will be holding its third “Coffee With A Cop” get together this morning, May 24th, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Casano Community Center.
The event provides a unique opportunity for community members to spend time with police officers, ask questions, and learn more about the department’s work in Roselle Park in a relaxed, informal environment while sharing a cup of coffee.
The majority of contact that the public has with law enforcement occur during emergencies and/or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community and some community members may feel that officers are unapproachable on the street. “Coffee with a Cop” allows for a one-on-one interaction in an open, stress-free environment.
“Coffee With A Cop” is free and open to all members of the public.
The Casano Community Center is located at 314 Chestnut Street.
