The eight candidates for various offices in Roselle Park – four (4) Board Of Education Candidates and four (4) municipal offices – have been sent a formal request from Roselle Park News to sit down for a conversation to discuss their candidacy. A list of a dozen dates throughout August and September have been proposed.
The invitations were personally delivered to six candidate’s residence during the first week of August – two candidates had their invitations mailed. Each candidate was asked to respond personally, as it is Roselle Park News’ policy to not discuss such matters with campaign managers, political committee members, or anyone other than the candidate. Once a date is agreed upon, a list of baseline questions will be provided to allow candidates the opportunity to review in order to offer detailed responses that will provide in-depth discussion on their campaign for elected office.
