In total, under 3,000 people for the 2014 general municipal election and less than 1,000 voting for the Board Of Education (BOE).

The election breakdowns showed that the 2nd Ward was crucial for a victory in both the mayoral as well as council-at-large election and that both Michael Yakubov and Richard Templeton had strongholds in the 5th Ward, Mr. Yakubov’s current ward.
