The governing body promoted two crossing guards and hired two residents as alternate crossing guards to fill the vacancy of two guards who resigned.
Todd Kraft and Gerald Lozauskas were promoted from alternate crossing guard to crossing guard. Michael Maiorelli and Arcilla Montanez were hired as alternates to be available in case a crossing guard is unavailable to work at a certain time or on a certain day.
These appointments filled the vacancy caused by Camille Bananno and Joseph Crivelli resigning as crossing guards.
All appointments, promotions, and resignations took effect immediately. The rate of pay for a crossing guard is $67.26 per day.
