On April 8th, Patrolman Edward Nortrup stopped a pedestrian on Charles Street for a welfare check as the individual appeared to be intoxicated and found him to be a wanted person. Anthony Vitto, a 49-year-old resident of Roselle Park, was found to have warrants issued by the Union County Sheriff’s Department and the Roselle Park Municipal Court. Vitto was arrested and processed at RPPD, then released into custody of the Union County Sheriff.
