On Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at approximately 5:08 p.m., Patrolman William Hannon conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 1998 Honda on Galloping Hill Road at East Clay Avenue for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Jeremy G. Garcia, age 21 of Jersey City, and passenger Michele Montero, age 18 of Roselle Park, were found to be in possession of CDS (under 50 grams) of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Garcia was arrested and charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to turn over CDS to police. Ms. Montero was arrested and charged with possession of CDS. Both were released on a summons.

Later that same evening at approximately 11:13 p.m., Patrolman Robert Harms conducted a motor vehicle stop on a 2010 Honda on West Westfield Avenue at Chestnut Street for failing to remove snow from the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Matthew S. Frank, age 24 of West Orange, was found to be in possession of CDS (under 50 grams) of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Frank was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
