For the first time in almost a decade and a half, the Roselle Park Summer Camp will not be held at the Roselle Park High School.
Due to construction work for classroom renovations and to remediate asbestos underneath the woodshop floor, the summer camp will be housed at the Roselle Park Middle School (RPMS). Both issues are related to accommodating the school district’s STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Technology) program.
In line with safety regulations, the high school building must be completely closed during the asbestos removal and it is estimated to take three (3) weeks.
An open house will be at the middle school for the Roselle Park Summer Camp on Wednesday, May 23rd, from 5:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m.
