On Sunday, February 27, 2011 at approximately 7:30 a.m., Patrolman Nicholas Vaughan responded to the 200 block of Sheridan Avenue after Elizabeth Police Department reported that they recovered a possible stolen vehicle in the Elizabeth Train Station. Elizabeth PD located a 1998 Honda Civic missing all four wheels and the ignition was damaged.

Patrolman Vaughan spoke with the registered owner who stated the Civic was parked curbside in front of their residence at 2:30 a.m. The vehicle had after-market wheels on it. The victim was advised to contact Elizabeth Police Department to take possession of their vehicle.
