On Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at approximately 6:09 p.m., Patrolman Nicholas Vaughan observed a red Toyota Corolla with both the driver and passenger not wearing seat belts in violation of 39:3-76.2F. A motor vehicle stop on the 100 block of East Westfield Avenue led to the discovery of a small clear bag containing suspected CDS marijuana.

The passenger, identified as Junior Sime-Nunez, age 18, of Perth Amboy, was arrested and charged with 2C:35-10(a)4 (possession of marijuana) and 39:3-76.2F (failure to wear seatbelt). He was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court hearing on December 16, 2010.

The driver was issued motor vehicle summons for 39:3-76.2F (failure to wear seat belt) and 39:3-29 (failure to exhibit drivers license).
