Roselle Park Police are investigating three apartment burglaries reported over the weekend.
The first occurred at 60 East Westfield Avenue on December 8th, Saturday afternoon. An unknown suspect forced entry to the basement apartment through a ground level window. A computer and assorted jewelry were taken from the apartment.
The second burglary occurred between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon at 222 East Westfield Avenue. Again, the suspect gained entry through a ground level window. This time, jewelry and a bottle of liquor were stolen from the home.
The last incident happened at 300 East Westfield Avenue between Thursday afternoon and Sunday evening. The actor forced entry again to a basement level apartment, however the occupant reported that nothing was missing from the apartment.
Police have been canvassing the area trying to locate witnesses and have increased uniformed and plainclothes patrols in the apartment complexes. Anyone with information on the burglaries are urged to contact Detective Hussam Assad at (908) 245-2300.
