The fourth annual Roselle Park Arts Festival will be on Saturday, September 29th, from 1 p.m. till 9 o’clock at night.

The celebration of art – be it traditional canvas, sculptural, music, film, dance, acting or the written word – will be presented along Chestnut Street. The festival is free and open to the public.

Local Roselle Park artists and performers along with artisans from the state, New York City, and around the world.

A live theater performance from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet will officially start the event after opening remarks. Dancers, street artists, the Montclair Art Museum (MAM) Art Truck, and dozens of artists and crafters will line the street as patrons of the outdoor multimedia gallery visit the student art exhibit at the Anthony Signorello Youth Center and a juried Art Walk with dozens of artists and artisan crafters exhibiting and selling their work.

The third annual Roselle Park Short Film Festival will be showing entries all afternoon at two locations – the Casano Community Center and the Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library.

Music acts will also perform throughout the day and end with an evening concert.

Hands-on activities for children and adults will include craft making, chalk drawing, graffiti wall spray painting, string art, a painting corner, and more.

Several food trucks will also be on-hand as well as local restaurants that will be open offering culinary art.
