Police responded to a reported dispute at West Westfield Avenue at Chestnut Street on April 12th. Upon arrival, they located a female motorist who complained that while stopped at a red light, a van pulled up behind her, and “honked” its horn at her. She stated the male passenger got out and yelled profanities at her. She stated he spit on her window and kicked her car. Police located the male suspect, a 44-year-old Charles Street resident, who stated the female motorist was using her phone and “cut him off”. He eventually admitted to kicking the car and causing minor damage. Both parties were advised of complaint procedures and were released from the scene.
