On Sunday, May 20th, patrolman Edward Nortrup arrested Colfax Manor resident Ann Zois on an outstanding warrant from Somerset County. Zois, age 55, was wanted by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office on a no bail warrant.

Officer Nortrup had been attempting to locate Zois for several days and was making another attempt to locate her when she walked up to him as he was at her door. Zois identified herself as Ann Roccia to Patrolman Nortrup in an attempt to hinder her own apprehension. Zois was charged with Hindering apprehension then released into the custody of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.

Zois is scheduled to appear in Roselle Park Municipal Court at a later date.
