Cell Phone Use Violation Leads To CDS Charges thumbnail

No domingo, Setembro 26, 2010 a cerca 2:26 p.m. no 600 bloco de W. Westfield Avenue, Patrolman Nicholas Vaughan observed a black Honda Civic traveling westbound. The driver of the vehicle was speaking on a cellular phone which was held up to her left ear, in Violation of NJSA 39:4-97.3. The vehicle pulled into the Shell gas station at the corner of North Avenue and Grove Street, Cranford and Patrolman Vaughan conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot. An investigation led to the discovery of three (3) partially smoked hand rolled cigars containing suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) maconha, 1 (1) small clear/black empty Ziplock bag and one (1) empty “Paul Masson” brandy bottle. Arnita Lee of Roselle was placed under arrest and charged with 2C:35-10A4 (possession of CDS), 2C:36-2 (posse de parafernália de drogas), 39:4-97.3 (use of wireless device), 39:4-49.1 (CDS in motor vehicle), and 39: 4-51(b) (recipiente aberto de álcool). Lee was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court first appearance of October 7, 2010.
