Galloping Hill Traffic Stop Ends In Marijuana Possession Arrest thumbnail
On Sunday, April 29th, Patrolman Mitchell White stopped a 2006 Nissan Altima for traffic violations on Galloping Hill Road. During the roadside investigation, officer White detected the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. He then observed a bag of suspected marijuana tucked into the passenger’s door. The evidence was secured and the driver, Mohammed A. Athar, age 22 of Elizabeth, NJ was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. Athar was later released pending an appearance in Roselle Park Municipal Court.
