Vehicle Lamps Violation Ends In Arrest For Cocaine Possession thumbnail

Sur Août 16, 2011 à environ 8:05 p.m. in the area of Chestnut Street and West Lincoln Avenue, Patrolman Richard Gaylord observed a silver Chevy pickup in violation of New Jersey Motor Vehicle statute 39:3-66 (entretien des lampes).

A motor vehicle stop resulted in the discovery of a dollar bill fold ($1 US currency) containing suspected cocaine.

Le conducteur. Lilian Almanzar, âge 59, et le passager, Anthony Lowery, âge 46, both of Elizabeth , New Jersey, were both placed under arrest and charged with 2C:35-10(un)(1).

Mme. Almanzar was released pending a Union County Superior Court date on August 24, 2011. M.. Lowery was released to Elizabeth Police in lieu of $200 caution. Mme. Almanzar was also issued motor vehicle summonses: pour 39:3-66 (entretien des lampes); 39:4-49.1 (CDS dans un véhicule automobile,); et 39:6B-2 (uninsured motor vehicle).
