À 11:37 h, Patrolman Brian Macdonald conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 400 bloc de Chestnut Street sur un 2011 BMW for equipment and moving violations including failing to stop for a law enforcement officer. It was reportedly discovered through a MVC check that the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended and expired license. Le conducteur, Christopher Larriva, âge 29, from Roselle Park was arrested for Obstruction for failing to stop the vehicle when indicated to do so by police. A search incident report stated that Mr. Larriva was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of CDS (marijuana) and prescription medication. He was issued numerous motor vehicle summons and also charged with two (2) counts of possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and obstruction. He was released on a summons with a future court date.

À 2:30 du matin, Patrolman John Fitzgerald conducted a motor vehicle stop on West Lincoln Avenue at Larch Street with a 2001 Nissan for speeding. Le conducteur, Bermido Joseph, âge 21, from Elizabeth and passenger Brandon Andre, âge 22, from Roselle Park were both arrested following a brief roadside investigation. Both Joseph and Andre were found to be in possession of a suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance (sous 50 grammes de marijuana). Andre was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Woolwich Township Municipal Court for $350. Andre posted cash bail for the warrant and both were released on a summons for the possession of CDS and several motor vehicle summonses with a future court date.
Le samedi,à 9:03 h, Patrolman Brian Macdonald conducted a motor vehicle stop on East Westfield Avenue at Galloping Hill Road on a 2001 GMC van for a moving violation. Le conducteur, Raul Herrera, âge 52, from Brooklyn NY was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Linden and Roselle Municipal Court bail totaling $300. A search revealed Herrera to be in possession of and wearing a necklace which contained a large dagger knife in a sheath. He was charged with possession of a weapon and bail set at $5,000. Herrera was also issued traffic summonses and transported to the Union County Jail.

À 1:30 h, Patrouilleur Brian Macdonald effectué un arrêt de véhicule à moteur sur un 2003 Ford that was parked and occupied on Valley Road. Le conducteur, Gabriel Diaz, âge 21, from Toms River was found to be in possession of a suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance (sous 50 grammes de marijuana) et attirail de drogue. He was arrested and charged with the same. Diaz was released on a summons with a court date.
Lundi, à 1:31 h, Patrouilleur Brian Swick effectué un arrêt de véhicule à moteur sur un 1994 Toyota sur l' 100 block of East Westfield Avenue for an equipment violation. Le conducteur, John Rojas, âge 47, from Elizabeth handed the officer a fraudulent New Jersey driver’s license that was easily detected. It was discovered that Rojas had an old New Jersey driver’s license that was expired but revealed numerous outstanding warrants out of Sayreville, Old Bridge, Elizabeth and Rahway Municipal Courts bail totaling $4,655. He was arrested and charged with possessing a fraudulent driver’s license and bail was set at $10,000. He was issued motor vehicle summonses and transported to the Union County Jail.

Right after midnight, Patrouilleur Matthew Hopkins a effectué un arrêt de véhicule à moteur sur un 1993 Acura on the 100 block of East Westfield Avenue for an equipment violation. Le conducteur, Luis Santos, âge 31, from Roselle was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Roselle Municipal Court for $118. A search revealed Santos to be in possession of a suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance (sous 50 grammes de marijuana) et attirail de drogue. He was charged with the same and issued motor vehicle summonses. He was released on a summons with a court date.
