On July 17, 2010, patrolman Kompany initiated a traffic stop on E. Westfield Avenue at Walnut Street. When speaking with the driver, Ryan Costanza, the driver’s license inquiry showed that his driving privileges were suspended. An investigation led to the discovery of a bag with white powder residue, suspected to be cocaine.

Costanza was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was charged with 2C:36-2. Costanza was also issued two traffic summonses 39:3-40 and 39: 3-66.

Costanza is scheduled to appear in Roselle Park Municipal Court on July 22, 2010.
