Two deer (pictured above) were seen on Spruce Street and East Grant Avenue in Roselle Park on Wednesday.
The two apparent young bucks were spotted in people’s backyards early in the morning. One resident stated that this was the first time in 25 years that she had seen deer in Roselle Park.
“We want to make sure they are not near the road which might cause a major accident,” stated Detective Sergeant Dominick Frino.
Roselle Park Police ask that anyone spotting deer should contact the Police Department at (908) 245-2300 and keep their distance.
