Councilman-At-Large Holds TNR Information Sessions

Councilman-At-Large Carl Hokanson will be holding two information/discussion sessions for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) for feral cats in the Borough.
The first session will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Borough Hall.
The second session will be on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from noon till 2 p.m., also at Borough Hall.
Both sessions will have representatives from “People From Animals” in Hillside as well as other TNR professionals on-hand to provide information on feral cat colonies and answer questions from those in attendance.
The meetings are in relation to Roselle Park Ordinance 2403 which is titled “An Ordinance Permitting The Managed Care Of Feral Cats An The Borough Of Roselle Park”. This ordinance is a reworking of a previous ordinance (2398) which had so many changes to it that it had to retired and made into a new one.
