The Roselle Park Police Department (RPPD) has given notice that Chestnut Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, September 29th, to accommodate the annual Roselle Park Arts Festival.
The borough’s main street will be blocked off from Webster Avenue to Charles Street for 11 hours starting at nine o’clock in the morning and re-opening at 10 p.m.
The blockade will have Charles Street open for traffic.
Cross street closings will be:
- Grant Avenue East at Walnut Street
- Grant Avenue West at Filbert Street
- Clay Avenue at the Chestnut Street intersection
- Webster Avenue at the Chestnut Street intersection
All vehicles will have to by off Chestnut Street by 9 a.m. Saturday morning. No vehicles except for festival participants will be allowed on the roadway after then.
The Roselle Park Arts Festival will run from 1 p.m. till 10 o’clock at night.
