On July 29, 2011 at 9:05 p.m., Patrolman Edward Nortrup responded to the 800 block of Walnut Street on a report of theft. The victim stated he went shopping around 5 p.m. on July 29, 2011 and returned home at 8 p.m.. While taking items out of his vehicle, he noticed that the rear Nissan emblem of his vehicle was missing. The victim looked at the other vehicles in his driveway and noticed that the rear emblem of his Chevrolet was also missing. The cost to replace is unknown.

On July 29, 2011 at 9:24 p.m., while investigating another theft of emblems, Patrolman Edward Nortrup noticed that an Infiniti was also missing its rear emblem. The vehicle was parked on the 800 block of Walnut Street. The cost to replace is unknown.

A search of the area for additional vehicles with missing emblems was negative.
