A UC First Alert was sent out today relaying that the Roselle Park Police reported an attempted luring incident in the area of Galloping Hill Road just south of Reindel Place.

The juvenile victim reported that a Hispanic male, approximately 50 years of age, 5′ 11″, average build, clean-shaven, short grey hair, wearing a black leather coat & black pants was operating an older model black 4-door vehicle – possibly a Taurus – with unknown New Jersey plates.

The male yelled out to the female victim and a friend to “Get in” and spoke Spanish toward the victim while opening the passenger side door.

After the victim ignored the male, he stopped the vehicle and stepped out of the car walking towards the victim and her friend, who intervened and caused the male to leave the area southbound on Galloping Hill Road in the vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact the Roselle Park Police Department at (908) 245-2300.
