Cell Phone Use Violation Leads To CDS Charges thumbnail

The driver of the vehicle was speaking on a cellular phone which was held up to her left ear, in Violation of NJSA 39:4-97.3. The vehicle pulled into the Shell gas station at the corner of North Avenue and Grove Street, Cranford and Patrolman Vaughan conducted a motor vehicle stop in the parking lot. An investigation led to the discovery of three (3) partially smoked hand rolled cigars containing suspected Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) قنب هندي, واحد (1) small clear/black empty Ziplock bag and one (1) empty “Paul Masson” brandy bottle. Arnita Lee of Roselle was placed under arrest and charged with 2C:35-10A4 (حيازة CDS), 2C:36-2 (حيازة أدوات المخدرات), 39:4-97.3 (use of wireless device), 39:4-49.1 (CDS in motor vehicle), and 39: 4-51(ب) (حاوية مفتوحة من الكحول). Lee was released pending a Roselle Park Municipal Court first appearance of October 7, 2010.
