Animal Abuse Complaint Ends In Arrest Of RP Resident For Warrants thumbnail

On July 23rd, Patrolman James Kompany responded to the area of 300 Pershing Avenue to investigate a complaint of animal abuse. At the scene, officer Kompany spoke to Anthony V. Serritella, 42 years of age from Roselle Park. Serritella was found to have a $10,000 warrant from the Bayonne Municipal Court. He was arrested and processed at RPPD. Additional warrants were located for Serritella, $750 from Parsippany, $373 from West Orange, and $200 from Madison. Serritella was later released into custody of the Bayonne Police Department. No evidence of animal abuse was found at the scene.
