On May 11, 2012, Patrolman James Kompany stopped a 1992 Honda Accord for traffic violations on Warren Avenue. During the roadside investigation, officer Kompany arrested the driver, Gabriel Rodriguez, on warrants totaling $580 from the Elizabeth Police Department. On May 1st around 12:58 p.m., Patrolman Kevin Florczak stopped a 2000 Hyundai for traffic violations on Jerome Street. The driver, Edward J. Darby, age 29 of Roselle, was found to have active warrants from Kenilworth Municipal Court. Darby was placed under arrest and released to Kenilworth Police Department on a $1,000 traffic warrant.
